Saturday, August 19, CARC Activated the Michigan Lighthouse at Northport. Many members visited the site and enjoyed a few minutes of HF and Satellite Radio. In the photo you can see the twin-lead from the G5RV as high as we could get it between the lighthouse railing and a cooperative tree. Lighthouses in New England, California and Canada were contacted, fun was had by all. More details in the next newsletter.
