About the Cherryland Amateur Radio Club (CARC)

If you’re looking for a Club that is fun and interesting, you need look no further than the Cherryland Amateur Radio Club.

We’re a friendly and active group, and we welcome visitors to all of our meetings, as well as our activities.

We host a General meeting (all are welcome) on the fourth Tuesday of each month (except December) at 7pm. We also have board meetings on Firtst Tuesdays of each month at 7pm (all are welcome) and have Project Nights weekly each Tuesday night at 7pm.

We have several in-club “fun” contests, an annual picnic, annual Swap-N-Shop, a healthy ARRL Field Day effort each year, many social events, offer mentoring / “Elmering”, offer Entry-level and Upgrade classes, and we sponsor several other Amateur Radio organizations.

We have a club webpage at www.CherrylandARC.com and also an email list (anyone is welcome to join). We have a Monthly Newsletter called “The Cherry Juice” which covers the area happenings with respect to Amateur Radio.

  1. Last night’s meeting was great. Lots of info leading to lots more questions.

    I found a great primer for those who want more info about the technology we saw last night.

    This is a nice 16 page PDF that I found very useful. I don’t know who does the club’s emails, but if you could forward this to them, it might make a nice story, or even a page for the website.
