Michigan QSO Party is THIS WEEKEND! Join us!

Join the W8TCM crew at

The TC Salvation Army Station!

The Cherryland Amateur Radio Club is joining the Michigan QSO Party THIS WEEKEND 4/15-4/16.

Please join us at the Salvation Army at the intersection of Barlow St. and Boon St. in Traverse City. Things will get started at about Noon on Saturday (1200 EDST) and will run through Midnight. ( 2400 EDST).

Our own Joe KC8RLU will be keeping the station operating for the duration of the event!

The MiQP is a REALLY FUN event. If you’ve never worked an HF event before, this is a great opportunity.  The contest is CW and SSB on 80, 40, 20, 15 and 10 meters.

The MiQP is a low-stress, easy-going and FUN event – it’s great for relaxed work and a great opportunity if you’ve not done a lot of HF or contest work. It’s a great introduction!

The CARC Club SATERN station at the Salvation Army in TC also has a full-time packet node operating on 145.090 and also has a dual-band VHF+UHF FM station as well as an HF all-band station and G5RV antenna.

The club has approved a budget for some food (Pizza, etc) so if there is a good turn-out, it should be a fun Saturday Afternoon/Evening!

We Hope to see you there!
